Description
This is a handsome early Georgian silver salver of hexagonal form with a stepped piecrust rim with scallop shell devices and set on three hoof form double scrolled feet. It has an engraved crest of a rampant lion, head reguardant. Hallmarked for London 1745 and makers mark for the salver specialist Robert Abercromby.
