Large Pair of 18th Century French Giltwood Torcheres

A wonderful pair of French giltwood torcheres, these are decoratively carved and have a good height. They will look great in any room and have practical metal trays to hold a large church candle. - Crimped metal trays for the candles at the top, with iron spikes to hold them. - Stand sturdily, with a good weight to the base. - Decoratively carved, with tripod bases. In sturdy condition, they have a range of minor chips and losses to the gilt surface which is in keeping with their age and character.
