Large Pair of 18th Century Italian Giltwood Armchairs

These are a large and majestic pair of low and deep 18th Century Italian armchairs with exceptionally carved, giltwood, over-scaled frames. Having wide backs and padded seats upholstered in dramatic and colourful silk velvet pinstripe fabric with braid trim. The arms and legs are decorated with scrolled carvings and acanthus leaves. A super pair of grand and almost throne like armchairs!
