Large Public Display Barograph

This is a particularly attactive and imposing large pattern barograph. Although unsigned it carries all the hallmarks of a Negretti & Zambra instrument, possibly from a limited production run. The chart on the clock drum states 'Short & Mason charts supplied by Negretti & Zambra'. There is a mercury thermometer and a slim chart drawer to the base. The movement has been cleaned and polished with the oak hardwood case refinished. A quantity of weekly recording charts included together with a fresh bottle of ink and a reprinted copy of a pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra illustrating the interpretation of various chart readings.
