Leather & Mahogany Chippendale Style Sofa

A smart and very well made Chippendale style settee, beautifully made from solid mahogany and leather. This dates from around the 1950’s. It’s of top quality and it is quite unusual to see this design as a sofa rather than armchairs. It is sturdy and supportive, the leather upholstery is also of great quality. It has a deep buttoned back, leather padded arms & the leather is hand studded onto the frame. The strong legs are extra re-enforced by plenty of cross stretchers, making this settee very sturdy. This is in great condition for its age, we have had the mahogany polished and the leather has been hand coloured and polished by our leather restorer.
