Description
A slim oak and leather topped library table complete with pen trough on each side It is in a A.W.N Pugin style, manufactured circa 1930. Raised on block and reeded legs united by a single oak stretcher. Gorgeous patina in the leather top showing its years. This library desk would make a super dining table or office desk.
We have three library tables in this style all from Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.
All items are checked cleaned repaired, polished and carefully packed to arrive ready for you to enjoy!

Bentleigh Antiques has clarified that the Library Table Oak with Leather Inlay with Double Pen Trough c.1937 (LA510198) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1937
condition
The legs and frame are good and sturdy with just age related knocks and scrapes. The leather inlay is in a super conditions with a look that matches its age, but has no real obtrusive marks stains or cuts, just some very small loses, nice patina from its almost 90 years.
