Lovely 1920 hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a lignum vitae bowling ball top. The silver was assayed in Birmingham as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1920 and makers mark for Jonathan Howell. The collar has a plain trumpet top with engine turned decoration the the base. The ball top is a miniature of a crown green bowling ball. The ebony shaft is a good weight and strong, fine for everyday use. The ferrule is original and made of polished black buffalo horn. It measures 92.5 cm 36 1/2 inches in length, the pommel is 4.5 cm 1 3/4 inches wide.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. The silver has some surface marks but no damage or repairs.
