Lilliput Lane "Ash Nook" Cottage

Offered for sale is a hand-made model cottage produced by Lilliput Lane entitled "Ash Nook" as part of their English, South East Collection. Lilliput Lane studio was founded by David Tate and is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, in the North of England. Every cottage is handmade and are David's interpretation of the essence of English vernacular architecture. Ash Nook cottage is in Hertfordshire and would originally been inhabited by a village artisan - perhaps a master wheelwright or cooper. Built from timber frame and infilled with plaster and brick it has been clad in weatherboards to protect its residents from the sharp Winter winds that blow in from East Anglia.
