Lilliput Lane "Five Ways" Cottage

Offered for sale is a hand-made model cottage produced by Lilliput Lane entitled "five Ways" cottage as part of their English, Midlands Collection. Lilliput Lane studio was founded by David Tate and is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, in the North of England. Every cottage is handmade and are David's interpretation of the essence of English vernacular architecture. Five Ways cottage is in the English Midlands and would probably have been inhabited by craftsmen and merchants dependent upon the passing trade. This cottage is of post and truss construction. Five Ways has a massive brick, Tudor style chimney and at the rear a large pantry and bakehouse, both additions to the original building that would have only had a simple chimney arrangement.
