Description
A very pretty Worcester oval porcelain dish with a blue scale ground, large central oval reserve with scalloped edge and four shaped reserves intersecting the scale ground, each with ornate gilt frames. Painted with sprays of flowers in lovely bright enamels. Delicate gilt floral sprays ornament the blue ground and the dish is finished with a gilt rim. Blue fretted square mark to the base, c.1770.
Provenance: collection sticker for T. A. Hall, Burnley.

condition
Condition is excellent with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear to either enamels or gilding. There are a couple of very minor glaze faults from firing.
