Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the look out and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale; from the north to the south of France. When needed, we service the springs and replace the webbings. In our experience this is nearly always. After all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. Description

This is a great chair, classic moustache, beautiful shape, very lovely leather. There are two ancient repairs; one on the inside left arm and one very small one on the outside of the right arm (see pictures). Nothing, however, has been detracted from how attractive this chair is. The repairs were done well and have aged and mellowed very nicely with the chair. We have marked the chair's price accordingly with these old repairs, in comparison to one without. All the necessary spring-work has been done and the leather as a whole is still very robust. This chair has a lot of character and charm and the comfort is as good as it can be. Good luck, bonne chance!
