A rail is fitted with a removable shelf above plus two more removable shelves have been made ready to fit. We will fit these at your desired spacing before it leaves us, the rail and shelf can be easily repositioned if required.. That way you get to configure it to suit your needs 👍 With an internal depth of 44cm it could be used with standard (42cm) hangers and light clothing or use small adult or child size. Assistance will likely be required at delivery and we can advise on access as it's one piece. Fabulous rustic charm with minor battle scars, some old worm (long dead/ sorted in the stripping process) but it just adds to the character and not a lot.
