Description
A magnificent bronze of an American Bison standing almost 11½" high (29cm) and weighing 20½lbs (9.3kg), signed "Barye," this was created around the turn of the century using the lost wax method. Superbly detailed, and very imposing, he is indeed a beauty, conveying majesty and quiet strength.
Despite extensive (and ongoing) research we have been unable to find another example of this superb sculpture.
