The leather is all-original and has been remarkably preserved. The sofa is of the highest quality with details that could only have been created by the finest traditional upholsterers. It has a sprung-edge front, and piped split-cane around the perimeter, again, remarkably, with no damage. All the springs are taught and lovely and the comfort, being a generous seat, is just wonderful.
