Magnificent Victorian silver serving knife for fish or seafood. This superb piece is of large proportions and is hallmarked on both the blade and handle. The detailed engraving on the blade is exquisite and features fish, two men in a boat, set in a rural scene. It appears on both sides, indicating the quality of the work. The fully cast handle has a rope twist design, featuring acanthus leaves and an imposing terminal with a vacant cartouche on each side. Excellent, with no dents, splits or losses. There are a couple of tiny pinprick dimples to the cartouche on one side, commensurate with age and use.
