Description
A stunning mahogany tray top coffee table of extremely fine quality. This is beautifully made in the antique Chippendale style, it dates from around the 1930’s.
There is absolutely stunning and deep carving throughout, with acanthus leaf knees, claw and ball feet, and a gadrooned edge. The tray top has scrolled and lipped edges, it lifts off to be used as a serving tray. The surface beneath the tray top is also nicely polished.
This is in excellent original condition, with only some extremely minor wear here and there.
