Description
This is a late 18th century mahogany tea table of excellent quality through-out. The table stands on six square tapered legs that are decorated with boxwood line inlay and each have a marquetry oval panel depicting lily of the valley flowers (the symbolism of this flower is a religious one although can also be interpreted as a symbol of good luck, something maybe better suited to a gaming table than a tea table). The top has a mahogany cross-banding that is edged with boxwood line inlay. Both rear legs swing out to support the top when in use.
