Mahogany Wheel Barometer. Swan Neck Pediment with Brass Finial. 10 inch dial. Hygrometer. Thermometer. Spirit lLevel.
Francis Pearce was recorded as living at above address in Robson’s Street Directory of 1832. Newington was a small hamlet a mile south of London Bridge. Birthplace in 1791 of the scientist Michael Faraday. Now the area of the A3 adjoining the Elephant and Castle.
