Description
This is an attractive French antique mantle clock which was made during the early 20th century, depicts childhood fishing and captures the simple pleasures of those days. The boy with the fishing rod and the clock frame is made of spelter, the feet and other decorative parts are ormolu.
The base of the clock is in Rouge Roi Marble and the clock face has an attractive hand painted flower feature on a porcelain back ground.
This clock, which runs for 8 days, has a delicate and cheerful chime. It keeps good time and is shown here in clean used condition.
