London, retaining its original brass Maple & Co. trade plaque and quality Hobbs & Co. London brass locks and fittings. Maple & Co. were among Britain’s foremost furniture manufacturers, holding Royal Warrants and furnishing country houses, embassies and palaces throughout the Victorian and Edwardian periods. The upper section features four elegant astragal-glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelving, ideal for displaying books, porcelain or decorative objects. The lower section is fitted with three frieze drawers above four panelled cupboard doors, offering extensive concealed storage.
