Masons Ironstone Covered Bowl C1880

Offered for sale is this unusual, covered bowl decorated in the Pagoda pattern in a typical chinoiserie palette of blues, greens and burnt orange with flashes of cobalt on a white ground. This is a rare shape with 12 fluted sides and a snake handle to the lid, it is also much finer than the usual Masons Ironstone Hydra Jugs etc.
