Mid Century G Plan Librenza Extending Teak Dining Table 1960s

Vintage mid century G Plan extending dining table made in the 1960s probably, though could possibly be late 1950s. It has the gold E Gomme stamp which I believe dates it fairly reliably. The range is called Librenza and features teak and veneer construction with mid sheen black painted components: the base in this case. The top of the table is in two sections which slide apart allowing an extending leaf, stored in a handy slot below, to be inserted. Probably designed for 4-6 seats but you could get 8 round it if you're friendly.. The legs taper down to brass feet; these can be wound in or out to get the piece level on any floor (within reason..). The top can be completely removed for transport.
