Modernist Gold Ring with Violet Kunzite Hallmarked 1971

This is an absolutely stunning gold Modernist ring from 1971. This ring has a beautiful oval brilliant cut, natural Kunzite This Kunzite is a shade of violet with a pink shimmer. It is quite a pale colour. It is however a very clear & bright gemstone with no flaws or imperfections. This Kunzite is quite large at just under 4 carat. The gold ring is typical of a stylish early 1970s ring. It has a Modernist use of materials. This ring is fully hallmarked with an Anchor for Birmingham Assay Office, 375 for 9ct gold, Date latter ‘W’ for 1971 This ring has an unrecognisable makers hallmark of a stylised G ⭐ This ring is size P 1/2 (UK) / 8 (Us) ⭐ This ring is hallmarked 9ct Gold ⭐ This ring weighs 2.2 grams ⭐ The natural Kunzite measures 11mm long x 8.25mm wide x 5mm deep ⭐ The band width at the rear of the ring is 1.8mm ⭐ The ring projection (height on finger) is 5.2mm This is a vintage ring & is used. It is over 50 years old. It is in exceptional condition with very little wear. The gold has some light scuffs but very few. The Kunzite is perfect.
