Modernist Tigers Eye Silver Ring by Toye, Kenning & Spencer

Exceptional Modernist silver ring with stylish claw set Tigers Eye cabochon. This Tigers eye has a great colour – very dramatic with a dark brown background & a bright orange streak. It actually looks a little like a cats eye. Tigers Eye is the common name for a Pseudocrocidolite – this is a metamorphic rock with golden-yellow fibrous quartz running through it. This ring is fully hallmarked. It was designed by Toye, Kenning & Spencer. This is an English jeweller based in Convent Garden established in 1685! Hallmarks are: Anchor for Birmingham Assay Office, The British Lion Passant, Date Letter C for 1977. Makers Mark – Tk&S for Toye, Kenning & Spencer ⭐ Size U ½ (UK) / 10.25 (Us) ⭐ This ring weighs 3.9 grams ⭐ The bad is 3.5mm wide at rear of ring ⭐ The projection (how high it sites on your finger) is 7.3mm This ring is vintage & used & is over 45 years old. It has been well loved by previous owners. It is in good condition but does have some superficial marks. The gemstone is in very good condition.
