Modernist Tigers Eye Silver Signet Ring by Joachim S’paliu

Vintage Tigers Eye Ring by Modernist designer Joachim S’Paliu Rather chunky & heavy silver ring with a flush set oval Tigers Eye gemstone. The Tigers Eye has a nice orange brown chatoyancy. Tigers Eye is the common name for a Pseudocrocidolite – this is a metamorphic rock with golden-yellow fibrous quartz running through it. This ring has a geometric front panel, & is very much of the period. This ring is catalogued & designed around 1970, in Joachim’s Spanish workshop. ⭐ This ring is size T (UK) / 9.5 (Us) ⭐ This ring is stamped “S’Paliu S 925” to the inside of the band ⭐ This ring is a heavyweight at 9 grams ⭐ The Tigers Eye measure 16mm x 11mm ⭐ The band width at the rear of the ring is 3.6mm This ring is vintage & used. It is over 50 years old & has been worn. There’s some mottling & superficial scratches due to silver being soft. The gemstone is without marks & this ring is in good condition.
