Moonstone & Silver Penannular Brooch, Vintage, Very Small, Lapel Size

This is a very small (I have never seen one smaller) sterling silver penannular brooch with 2 cabochon moonstones set as the serpents heads, applied coil and twist work in silver at the rear of the moonstones give the impression of serpents bodies, the pin is decorated to the barrel with a similar decoration. Gives all the impression of hand made rather than manufactured and is unmarked and unnamed. Possibly European. Age; I doubt if it is antique and would think post 2nd W.W. 1950s, possibly to the 1970s.
