Description
We have for sale a lovely Swansea dessert plate moulded in the Nantgarw style. The plate is illustrated in Swansea Porcelain by WD John. This very attractive Swansea moulded duck egg porcelain dessert plate is decorated gilt and vibrant polychrome enamels with a central bouquet of flowers surrounded by c-shaped gilded scrolls and a further 6 bouquets of flowers to the rim.
This superb Swansea porcelain dessert dish is was exhibited as part of the selling exhibition of rare Derby, Pinxton, Nantgarw and Swansea porcelain "A journey with William Billingsley" 2016, ISBN: 9783741809903.
