Description
Circa 1940s, rare and unusual oak kerb fender by Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson of Yorkshire. The simple U-shaped fender with its adzed top has a lovely ripple. With visible peg joints and ogee fore-edge with the distinctive well-carved mouse. The fore-edge beneath is also adzed, and all with good colour and patination. Internal dimensions: 105 cm wide x 32 cm deep.
