Neat Antique Sarab Runner Carpet

This is a pretty hand woven woollen Sarab runner carpet dating from around 1920. The runner is in very soft lustrous wool and has typical Sarab linked lozenge design. The nine lozenges in warm red, pink and blue highlighted with green and orange are set off beautifully against the ivory field, with corresponding half lozenges to the sides and triple borders.
