Description
A lovely vibrant porcelain serving plate / saucer dish from New Hall, with a transfer printed outlined pattern, hand coloured in bright enamels of orange, pink, green, cyan, magenta, yellow and sepia. An oriental inspired design of a stylised bird in an unusual pose resting its head on a pebble on a branch of a flowering vine with peony type flowers and strawberry type fruit. Two sweet little butterflies are greeting each other to one side. Marked to the reverse with an early factory mark and pattern number 1511, c.1820-1825.
