Norwegian Silver Vermeil & Enamel Forget-me-not Brooch

A superb Norwegian silver and vermeil brooch, featuring a spray of forget-me-nots. The flowers are depicted in blue and white enamel, with a white enamel leaf to the side. The brooch is vermeil (gold-plated) to prevent the silver from tarnishing and there is a safety chain to the clasp (a sign of quality). The pin is secured by a 'c' clasp and the brooch was crafted by Bernard Meldahl, Oslo. A superior and eye-catching piece.
