Novelty Full Size Silver Flour Dredger

A rare silver flour dredger, dating from the early years of King George V. The body is cylindrical, with an applied serpentine handle and flared foot rim. The pull-off lid is domed and pierced and the silver is of good gauge. Novelty items such as pepper pots are found in this traditional design, but a full size flour dredger is very unusual in hallmarked silver.
