Novelty Vintage Silver Plated Cocktail Shaker

A wonderful silver plated cocktail shaker of very large proportions and good heavy weight. This charming example is modelled on the Boston lighthouse in the USA. Known as the Boston Light, it is America's second oldest working lighthouse and was built in 1783. The structure was designated a National historic landmark in 1964. The cocktail shaker is fitted with a pour cap with ball finial and there is an integral strainer to the inside of the lid. A great, novely example, making for a usable talking point on any drinks cabinet or bar. Date:- Circa 1960 Marks:- Design number stamped to base
