Nur Pocket Watch Chain Fob 1920s National Union of Railwaymen Gilt & Enamel Fob

Original gentleman's antique golden gilt & multi coloured enamel pocket watch chain National Union Of Railwaymen (N.U.R) chunky fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.6cm height (including the top ring), 2.8 width and weighs a respectable 8.7 grams. Wonderful shield shaped fob which is adorned to the front with Cardinal red, Royal blue, light green and salmon pink enamel set upon a golden gilt background. Large golden gilt locomotive to centre with an intertwined shovel and pickaxe below and is clearly stamped around the circumference in gold script; National Union Of Railwaymen. The back is decorated in pale eggshell blue, Cardinal red, white and Royal blue enamel featuring a world globe to centre which is holding the N.U.R flag above and has two golden gilt shaking hands below. Clearly stamped around the circumference (again in gold script); Workers of The World Unite. Original secure top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of overall wear/patina and light surface scratches commensurate with age and being proudly worn for the past 100 years.
