Oak Drop Dial Wall Clock, England c.1860
A solid oak drop dial wall clock dating to the mid 19th Century. It has a 12 inch dial, with a sectioned outer rim, and a drop section with a Gothic tracery design. The enamel dial has nicely designed matching hands and is signed by the makers Whitmore & Sons of Northampton. It has an 8 day fusee movement with stopwork to prevent overwinding. John and his Son are listed as working in 1864
