A good looking Globe Wernicke oak bookcase with the addition of a bottom drawer and perching off the floor on attractive little legs. We have makers transfer stamp to the inside, this one being a lesser seen model and type.
This Globe Wernicke sits well and survives in good order with sensible aging. All the glass is crack free, the little brass knobs are in place as are the original handles for the little drawer. We have carefully cleaned the piece and lubricated the door opening mechanisms so it's all good to go. Expect a good piece with historic aging. It breaks down for easier placing.
An attractive oak library bookcase from Globe Wernicke c.1920.
