Description
Antique (or possibly vintage) steel metal trunk made in the 1920s probably, though could be a bit later. Curved front and back to the lid and base; hasp for padlock (a replacement at some point); handles on the ends. Still in its original dark yellow paint with blue interior.

Barnaby's of Battle has clarified that the Old Metal Railway Trunk in Original Worn Paint (LA532757) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1920s
condition
Condition is not so bad structurally though there is some denting to the front top; cosmetically there's a good deal of wear, to the exterior paint particularly, and some surface rust. All part of its charm, we say: we've waxed it all to give it a sheen too.
