An old Quchan Kurd kilim brocaded runner of exceptionally long and narrow proportions. These rare items were used as Sofreh or eating cloths for guests to sit on at large village or tribal gatherings such as weddings or other ceremonys. They are extremely useful as runners as this size is super scarce. They look good in both contemporary or traditional corridors. This one has all wool construction, good natural dyes and is offered in near perfect, original condition. It has been deep cleaned and mothproofed. Circa 1930
