One of the nicest and most attractive clocks we have ever had the pleasure to offer for sale. Out and out quality from start to finish.
A rosewood case with inlaid nacre embellishments throughout. Further enhanced by the outer rim of the bezel surround being ebonised. It has inspection doors to both sides and a key lockable door to the underside. There is a sound-fret panel to the top, ensuring the perfect sounding of the bell. There is a glazed aperture to the lower half of the case through which the pendulum can be seen working.
The 8 day, twin gut fusee movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee. It strikes the number of hours on the hour on a cast bell, with a beautiful melodic tone.
The 12" (30cm) , white painted dial has black Roman numerals and nicely cut hands, contained within a glazed, cast brass bezel.
We must emphasize that unfortunately our pictures fail to convey the true beauty of this clock as we are very good at clocks and very bad at photography. It truly is stunning to look at.
Please carefully note our price for this clock in comparison to similar ones on the market.
