Description
These lovely pair of 18th century candlesticks each of which consisting of a circular base extending to a stem with a central section with with an oblong cut-out section for the push up slider/ejector and an upper section with a knurled band extending to fixed sconce. The candlesticks probably date to somewhere around 1780. The candlesticks are 9 inches (23cm) high and have bases that are 4 inches (10cm) in diameter. The candlesticks are in a good to very good antique condition with one or two minor indentations and the surface wear one would expect from nearly 250 years of use.
