Pair of 19th Century Gilt Bronze & Marble Cherub Candlesticks

This lovely and very elegant pair of 19th Century gilt bronze candlesticks depict cherubs holding a candlestick cup with what appears to be a French horn. The figures sit on a cylindrical black marble base with a gilded ormolu griffin. They would make a fine addition to many different rooms in the home, in a wide range of styles and settings, both contemporary and traditional. Origin: French circa1890 Condition: Excellent
