A magnificent pair of antique French champlevé candelabra, in gilt bronze with enamelled cloisonné, dating from around the 1850-1870 period. They are of museum quality, and are absolutely stunning. The main columns are in the image of two embracing cherubs, there are also rams head motifs on the bases. The enamelled metal is finely executed, with exquisite turquoise colours and patterns.
