Description
This is a fine pair of antique Georgian sterling silver salvers made by John Crouch and John Hannam and hallmarked in London 1786.
They are in very good condition, just the usual light usage marks with no damage or repair and sit firmly on 3 bracket feet with bead decoration and the same decoration is continued around the raised rim. Thee only other decoration is an ornate initial to the centre of both salvers which is surmounted by a rather impressive crown.
Clear and identical hallmarks to the salvers which have been made with a heavy gauge of silver. A pair of high quality from these well respected Georgian silversmiths.
