This is a pair of antique mantlepiece candlesticks. An English, silver plate and statuary marble candle stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Wonderful material choice accentuate this appealing pair of candlesticks displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Silver plate presents bright tonality and Corinthian order decoration. Striking statuary marble to the shaft, with milky white hues. Each hosting a 23mm (1'') candle nozzle set within a quarterfoil mount. Dressed to the base with emerald green protective baize.
