Circa 1860 and later... A pair of stylish carved oak gothic Newel posts, converted into lamps the tops with the brass lamp holders, on a stylish carved tapering stem with many gothic influences, with the carving on all 4 facings, resting on a shaped platform base with further carving in the bottom section.
