Pair of Demi Lune Barley Twist Extending Table Solid Oak

This French Solid Oak Demi Lune, console, barley twist table is a timeless piece perfect for adding a touch of old-world charm to any space. Antique lovers will appreciate its classic design. This pair is very unusual design, this table is from the 1800s, the base is very unusual with barley twist cross stretchers going into a Baroque style centre, the table can be used in 2 halves as demi lune tables, or consoles either side of a doorway, or put the extension in to seat 6-8. The table has a very good graining down the centre adding more character, the legs have a maple leaf carving on the base corners. Some age related markings adding charm and character to a very unusual table.
