Pair of Edwardian Silver Champagne Coupes Birmingham 1901
We have for sale a bit of a rarity, a lovely pair of elegant Edwardian solid silver champagne coupes made by the Barker Brothers, Birmingham 1901.
This very useful pair of silver champagne coupes consist of circular bowls raised on beaded stems. Both champagne coupes carry full English Hallmarks for Birmingham 1901, along with the makers marks for the Barker Brothers. These champagne coupes are truly from an age of elegance and are perfect for that special meal in or as a wedding gift.
The champagne coupes are 4.1 inches (10.5cm) high, 3.5 inches (8.9cm) in diameter to the rim and a total weight of 9.7 Troy ounces. The coupes are in a very good to excellent Edwardian condition, the hallmarks and makers marks are clear, but to be fussy, careful inspection reveals the rims don't quite form a perfect circle.
