Pair of Edwardian Sterling Silver Salt Spoons

Here we have a beautiful matching pair of Antique Sterling Silver Salt Spoons from the early 1900s. They would be ideal for using to serve salt, pepper, mustard or other condiments. The silver spoons were made by Joseph Gloster and it was hallmarked in Birmingham. The date letters are worn but it’s very likely to have been made in 1901. The maker's mark and hallmarks are on the back of the bowl. Each spoon has a very pretty, ornate design to the handles and lovely round bowls. The silver is shiny with a little tarnish. One handle is a little more curved than the other. One spoon has a number of tarnish spots to both the inside and outside of the bowl which are visible if you look very closely. This has been taken into account when pricing. Together they weigh 11g and each measure 6.9cm in length (just under 2 3/4 inches). They would be a lovely present and a small gift bag can be bought separately to put them in.
