Pair of Fan Back Upholstered Chairs

Lovingly upholstered and never used. Can't believe it really. So happy to see the incredible quality of upholstery on this very nice pair of fan backed chairs. Where do I start? Firstly, the matching antique chairs are extremely well made and are covered in a diamond pattern made up of ivory flowers with a tinge of subtle light green on the edges. This frames off a central display of red roses with green foliage, so pretty. The seat has a plump round base, this leads you to this wonderful, pocketed, fan design, adjoining the built-in bolster at the base, where the seat meets. I love the small detail of twisted braiding highlighting each fan section. Truly delightful in every way. Truly great value and no expense has been spared. Add brass castors on the front and swept inward square legs on the back, you have a pair of chairs to admire everyday. Quite amazing they have been hidden away, not used, or in pride of place. No matter, someone will have all the benefit to themselves, as they have been released from their hideaway. Originally designed as low chairs for nursing so the lady of the house didn't have to bend over while in the nursery. Sturdy frame work, mahogany legs, and the lady had used horsehair filling plus all the other traditional materials. My thoughts I would use them in a bedroom, Available as a pair only.
