A stunning pair of Louis XVI style night stands with removable marble tops above two good sized drawers and stand on elegant tapering cabriole legs. Stylish and desirable bombe shape these are constructed with a combination of fine rosewood, tulipwood, oak and fruitwood with decorative veneer floral inlay. Adorned with gilt metal handles and ormolu mounts. The original marble tops are in excellent condition. Makers identification “Gaussenac” branded on top of the cabinets.
